[00:01:01] Speaker B: Amen. Amen. Amen.
[00:01:02] Speaker A: We will talk about getting your mind right a little bit about that. I have preached messages about getting your mind right before, but I've never really done a Bible study on it. I'm just only going to say a few things on tonight about that.
[00:01:15] Speaker B: Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen.

God, we come here tonight to give you praise, honor and glory because you are worthy to be praised in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, bless all those that are tuning in on tonight. God, bless all those that are tuned in on a later date. God, other than tonight. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray that each and everyone can get something out of it. Use me, anoint me, Father God. And as always, Lord, let the people see you that's in me and not just me. Father God, remove flesh and father God, in the mighty name of Jesus, have your way and your will be done. In Jesus holy name we pray.
[00:02:37] Speaker B: Amen. Amen. Amen amen. Amen.
[00:02:42] Speaker A: Thank God for my wife tuning in. I believe she's probably on her way home and she's at work.
[00:02:47] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:02:49] Speaker A: Thank God. My favorite minister. God bless you, mighty man of God. Thank you for tuning in.
[00:02:54] Speaker B: Amen. Amen. Amen.
[00:02:56] Speaker A: We're going to come out of the book of first Corinthians just right quick because I want to talk about getting your mind right. But first things first. Let us jump into it. Happy new year. Happy 2024. For all those that are watching.
[00:03:09] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:03:12] Speaker A: 2023 is behind us, is in the rear view mirror. Leave it right there. Don't bring no foolishness into 2024.
[00:03:20] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:03:21] Speaker A: Leave all the foolishness in 2023.
[00:03:24] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:03:24] Speaker A: I pray that everybody came in this year with a mindset. Ready to work, ready to get busy, ready to serve the Lord full throttle.
[00:03:32] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:03:33] Speaker A: Going all out, selling all out.
[00:03:35] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:03:36] Speaker A: Loving God unconditionally.
[00:03:38] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:03:38] Speaker A: I pray that everybody is fired up. It's a new year.
[00:03:41] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:03:41] Speaker A: Hallelujah, God. It may be a new year, but don't be the same old you.
[00:03:46] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:03:46] Speaker A: It's a new year. Amen. We should go be going higher and higher. It's old gospel song. Every round goes higher and higher. You young millennials and generation Z don't know nothing about that.
[00:03:57] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:03:58] Speaker A: That's for baby boomers and generation X. Amen. Every round goes higher and higher every round goes higher and higher well, y'all know nothing about that. We don't sing them songs no more.
[00:04:10] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:04:10] Speaker A: There goes my enemy, my beloved Miami Dolphin fan, brother Patterson, always giving me fits about my cowboys.
[00:04:18] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:04:19] Speaker A: God bless you, mighty woman of God, Minister Coleman.
[00:04:22] Speaker B: Amen. Amen.
[00:04:23] Speaker A: Let us get your mind right. Let us focus on 2024. And I normally talk about this every year at the beginning, and I'm going to continue to say it because most people always get ready to come into the new year with new ideas and focused on new things. The main thing is you got to maintain that focus. You got to continue to put 1ft in front of the other. You got to continue to keep moving forward. How many times we say what we go do and don't do it? Or we start off doing it and stop doing it? I'm going to join the gym. I'm going to do this, I'm going to lose weight. I'm going to do that. But then things, spiritual stuff. How many people say, I'm going to read my bible more, I'm going to pray more.
[00:04:59] Speaker B: I'm.
[00:04:59] Speaker A: I'm going to fast more. I'm going to worship God, whatever. Those are the things I want to focus on tonight. If you said you're going to do those things, then that's what you got to do. If somebody who is watching this, I've seen the other day, it was on tv, they were doing a lot of college girls basketball players and whatnot. The camera was going from each one, different ones from different schools, and they were like, well, what's your new plans? What are you planning on doing? I guess they were saying there was resolutions and whatnot, resolutions for 2024. And a few of them said spend more time with God. I mean, they were saying this on television, at least they're trying to do that. They did say that to spend more time in God with God, to go to church more and all of that. If you saying you go do that stuff, then do it. Because if you didn't hardly do it in 2023, it ain't going to be easy. In 2024, the enemy is going to do all that he can to keep you from the house of God. The enemy is going to keep throwing the distractions at you to stop you from praying and all of that. Hallelujah, God. Bible studies on Wednesdays. If you're going to attend them, if you're going to watch them online, then that's what you need to be doing. If you said you was going to do that, if you can't get there, then watch it online. Be faithful. Tune in.
[00:06:05] Speaker B: Amen. Amen.
[00:06:06] Speaker A: How you doing, Sonny?
[00:06:07] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:06:07] Speaker A: God bless you. God bless you. Thank you for tuning in. Ryan Coleman, my coworker, Mr. New York.
[00:06:13] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:06:13] Speaker A: Thank you for tuning in, Mr. New York giant.
[00:06:15] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:06:16] Speaker A: Whatever you set your mind to do in 2024, then you go ahead and do that. Don't back down. You tell the devil, no, I am going to read my Bible more. I am going to pray more, whatever it is that's for the glory of God. You continue to do that and don't let the devil talk you out of it, psych you out of it, whatever the case may be. Don't let people do it. Don't let family do it. Well, you wasn't going to church. Well, I'm going now.
[00:06:38] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:06:39] Speaker A: See, it's wintertime right now. God bless you. Minister Coleman. Minister Channing.
[00:06:43] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:06:44] Speaker A: Powerful Bible study on the other night, man. I love you. Love you and your wife. Beautiful Bible study teachers. You have got to keep going forward and don't look back. As I was saying, it's cold now. So people use that for an excuse. It's cold outside, it's raining, whatever. You want to stay in a nice, warm house, you want to stay in a bed up under the COVID because it's good and warm, or whatever the case may be, you got to tell that devil he's a liar. What if everybody did that?
[00:07:09] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:07:10] Speaker A: See, you want to stay inside. What if God only blessed you when it was warm? What if God only blessed you when it was nice and sunny outside? You can't bless God with your presence.
[00:07:18] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:07:18] Speaker A: To come to the house of the Lord on a cold, rainy day or just a cold day. So what? At eight in the morning, it's 25 degrees outside. Hallelujah.
[00:07:25] Speaker B: God.
[00:07:26] Speaker A: If you got a job, you go get up, you go wake up. You go wake up. You go crank up that car. Are you going to take your behind to work and whatnot? And if you work outside like I do, amen. You go be outside in it anyway and whatnot. But see, in the house of the Lord, your church got heat, it got a roof.
[00:07:40] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:07:40] Speaker A: It got windows. It got all of that type of stuff.
I don't care how cold it is outside. You need to go to church, bottom line, and stop this foolishness.
[00:07:50] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:07:51] Speaker A: All is staying inside because the bed is warm and it's warm in the house.
[00:07:55] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:07:56] Speaker A: Where's your dedication at? Where's your faithfulness at? What if God only blessed you when he felt like blessing you?
[00:08:01] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:08:02] Speaker A: Hallelujah.
[00:08:02] Speaker B: God.
[00:08:02] Speaker A: I guess God don't bless you on cold days.
[00:08:05] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:08:05] Speaker A: So you can't get up and give him no praise. Come on, now we go tell the truth. On tonight we go tell the truth. I don't care if it's the summertime and it's raining hard, hard. Did you get a text or a phone call from the pastor saying that Bible study or church was canceled? No. Other than that, go. Don't care what it is. You drive in the rain. You drive when you have to.
[00:08:26] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:08:26] Speaker A: So people use excuses. Make sure this year is a year where we don't do any excuses.
[00:08:32] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:08:32] Speaker A: Especially when it comes to the house of the Lord. When it comes to serving God. That's what I meant to say. When it comes to serving God, no excuses. Get your mind right. In 2024, in one corinthians two and 16, it says that for who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him. That's a question. Can nobody instruct the Lord? But it says that but we have the mind of Christ, his thoughts, his ways that guides us. The minds of Christ. As it says in the amplified version, we have the mind of Christ. If you got the mind of Christ, you don't mind serving Christ, period. No matter what the weather is, when it's time to tune in for Bible study, you right there. You ain't doing nothing else but tuning in, getting ready, trying to see who's teaching and getting the word. Hallelujah, God, if you whatever. Like I said, you said you were going to do how many people last year. Coming into 2023 is a new year. I'm going to do ABC and D and ain't did none of it, or you started out and ain't did none of it.
[00:09:27] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:09:28] Speaker A: You got to keep going.
You can't stop.
Leave the foolishness back in 2023. Now, this is a new year. The church needs to move forward. You see all the foolishness that's going on in the world today. You see all of the killing. You see all of the stupid stuff going on in politics and all of that type of stuff. You see all of this foolishness. You see wars going on overseas. You see all of this. This is not the time to be backsliding. This is not the time to be weak. Now's the time to dig your heels in, plant flat footed, be like a tree planted by the water. Hallelujah, God, and serve Christ with all you got.
With everything that you got. Make the devil mad. I done told you all that now, how many times I got to say it? If the devil is happy with you, you doing something wrong, he should stay mad at you. And last week ain't nobody mad but the devil. How many times we say that? Well, the devil should stay mad. You keep him mad. Hallelujah, God, by serving God.
[00:10:26] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:10:27] Speaker A: Being a good steward, doing what you're supposed to do, not worrying about what people say. Hallelujah, God not being ashamed to serve God, not being ashamed of the gospel, period. Hallelujah, God. Yes, there's a lot of stuff that's going on. Yes, there's a lot of rumors and stuff that's going on. Everybody's talking about Bishop TD Jakes now. Everybody talking about Bishop William Murphy, how they was all in the church and swaying the circular music and all that. And see, boy, you got to be careful in these days. I'm not saying that Bishop TD Jakes was guilty until he come out and admit that he did what he did or whatever the case may be. I'm in his corner. That's my brother in Christ, and I'll support him until I see some pictures or whatnot. Or he say, yes, I did it. Forget whatever the case may be. You can't go around here believing rumors and carrying on. People would do anything to destroy your character, and especially if you are well known figure once you well known and you worldwide like that, people come out with all kinds of rumors and things against you. They saying all of this stuff, and ain't no video evidence of that mess that's going on. But how many people, like they said, in order for the truth to carry the truth, somebody said, to carry the truth around the world, you got to put it on a train and let it go. But a lie, a fly fly, a lie, take off, it don't need no help but a train. It got to pull and whatnot. And that's what it is about the truth. Hallelujah, God. But I'm not here to talk about that tonight. I know they started all that mess about what he was doing and whatnot. When it comes to my brothers and sisters in Christ, I'm in your corner. I'm in your corner. I'll defend you until you mess around and tell me that you guilty, or whatever the case may be, because I just don't believe stuff like that. You can't help but to hear it. It's everywhere. If somebody says something negative about anybody in my church, I ain't trying to hear. Until you succumb out and say that you guilty. I don't care about it. I know they ain't doing all that, because I see your lifestyle, and I know you. Hallelujah, God, I know that, and I pray that you do that if you hear anything negative about me, because people go talk about you and they go say things, this is a new year. Get your mind right. Block out all the foolishness. Block out all the garbage.
[00:12:25] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:12:26] Speaker A: And focus. Have blinders on, you know, like they do that to a horse and whatnot. So the horse can't look. The horse can just look straight ahead and whatnot. Having them blinders on and whatnot. Not focus about none else. Block out all the noise. Focus on Jesus Christ. That's what you focus on. Focus on getting better, getting your mind right. Hallelujah. Because the enemy gets up in here.
If he gets up in here, he got you. Hallelujah, God. Ain't too much you can do. I told you one time about what my brother said. And my brother, that was years ago, back in the 80s, when he said that my brother died a few years ago. And as men, as young men, we're always talking about women and all that type of stuff. He said, it's just not that I don't want a woman's body. I want a mind.
That's some deep stuff. He told me that I'm like a teenager and I'm soaking this stuff up. He said, I want a mind. Not just about, because I got a mind. I can get a body.
I want a mind. So that's how the mind is very, very important. That's why I say you got to make your mind up. If your mind is right, can nothing stop you? Hallelujah. God. You can focus and serve God with your whole heart. As long as your mind is right. Hallelujah. Because that's like when you accept Jesus Christ as your lord, it's a change of mind. Because you got to change the way you do things. You got to change the way you think. You got to change the way you talk, you got to change things. Places where you used to go, things you used to say, you got to get your mind right. Hallelujah, God. When you go serve God, you cannot serve God and have the same mindset you did out in the world. Your whole mind has to change. It says you are new creature in Christ. And that's what you do. Serving God with your whole heart. Hallelujah, God. But you got, like I said, we have the mind of Christ. Once you get this right up here. That's why the word of God says put on the arm of God the helmet of salvation. What does the helmet protect?
I was a soldier in the army. I did seven and a half years that cavalier. That's what it's called a helmet.
[00:14:19] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:14:19] Speaker A: There's a reason that you wear the helmet obviously.
[00:14:21] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:14:22] Speaker A: Stop bullets and whatever else case may be. I work for the city of Columbia. Whenever job site we're supposed to have on a hard hat so it can protect your head in case if anything falls or hits you. Whatever the case may be. Spiritually, you got to have on the armor of God to protect your head and your mind because that enemy is shooting them fiery dots as they say. He's shooting them dots and he's trying to get your mind. If he gets your mind, he got you anything, people backslide. It's in the mind. Because your mind was made up to do whatever it is that you did that wasn't of Christ. Hallelujah, God. You go cheat on your wife. You got to get that in your mind to go do it. Or your husband and whatnot. You go steal something, you go kill. Whatever the case may be, you had it in your mind to do it. If you keep your mind clear, all that gutter, because the enemy talks. And where your ears is right up here, it's all in the head. He getting that, and they're putting it in your head. Get your mind right. You tell that devil no if it's not of God, you tell him no, and you ain't going to do it. Well, stay home today. It's cold outside. Stay home today. You tired? No. I'm going to the house of the Lord. Hallelujah, God. I'm going to serve God with my whole heart.
[00:15:28] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:15:29] Speaker A: Whatever God has delivered you from, the enemy is trying to get you to go back to it. No matter what it was, whether you was a former dope head, whether women used to sell a body, whether women used to sell, whether women or men used to sell dope and all of that type of stuff, the enemy knows what God has brought you from, and he's trying to get you to go back out there to do that all the time. Whatever it is that you was deep into, that was separating you from Christ, and you've been delivered from it, the enemy will bring it back up from time to time. He tempted Jesus in the garden, my God, you know, he go tempt you if he tempted, the one that created him. I'm gonna say that again.
If the enemy was bold enough to tempt the same God that created him, you think he gonna do to you eye? You ain't going to sit up here and lie to me and tell me you don't think about the stuff that what you've been delivered from, all that alcohol, all the marijuana used to smoke, all the durn cocaine used to sniff, and all of that, all the dope used to sell, all the people used to cuss out, all the people used to knock out, and all of that. Because every now and then that stuff could be brought back up into your face. Even if you get with some old friends, they might remind you of how you used to be. And you all talk about old stories and all of that type of up. It happens to me all the time. I can't imagine what have happened. If I run in some of them clowns I was with in the military and whatnot that have no idea that I changed. There's probably some stories out there that I forgot about. I guarantee you it is. There's probably stories up there that I don't forgot about. I know what God didn't brought me from. I can imagine some of the foolishness, what they'll probably talk about what I was into.
[00:17:01] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:17:02] Speaker A: Hallelujah. But I just thank God for deliverance. Hallelujah, God. Because I made it up in my mind to leave that mess alone. There's plenty of opportunities to go back and do what I used to do every day. I got to fight it. Because either you go listen to the spirit or you go listen to the flesh. Get your mind right. You better listen to the spirit of God. Because that flesh go have you cussing out folks.
That spirit go have you taking stuff that don't belong to you. That spirit will have you want to go with somebody else other than your spouse. If you married Hallelujah, God. If you're single, that flesh is going to have you want to do things that you ain't got no business doing, fornicating and all of that type of foolishness and whatnot. Get your mind right to block all that stuff out.
Nehemiah said in Nehemiah four and four and six. In the book of Nehemiah, one of my favorite scriptures is Nehemiah four and six. If you know about that story about the walls of Jerusalem was torn down. And he got some focused men of God to help build the wall back up. And he said, we build the wall. Oh my God, let me get to it. He said, how we build a wall and listen what he said.
So we build the wall. The entire wall was joined together up to half of his height. For the people had a mind to work.
The walls was torn down. They had to build the stuff back up. They wasn't about no foolishness. You had haters coming down there. Sam Ballad and Tobias was coming down. They trying to distract them and all that. That's why here I can't come down. I'm on the wall. Hallelujah, God. I'm on the wall. That's why you hear people say, stay on the wall.
That's from Nehemiah. When they talk about staying on the wall. He said, I'm on the wall and I can't come down. You want to talk about some foolishness to distract me from working for God and whatnot. No. Don't let no family member. Don't let your husband, your wife, your children, your brother, your sister, not even your mother or your father. They still living. Do not have. Let nobody distract you from serving God. Nobody. I'm not saying that's easy, because we are human and we can easily be distracted by things especially by people, your own people, family. The mailman is not going to distract me now. He's not.
He don't know me like that. Or she. Whoever's in your neighborhood, how are you going to distract me and get me all upset? But that one, that's close to you, your wife, your husband, your children, family members, they can distract you more than anybody. They can distract you more than your friends can. I'm talking about friends that you grew up with. And sometimes it be them.
[00:19:25] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:19:26] Speaker A: Because they tell me, you didn't change. You ain't what you used to be. You didn't forgot all about it. You selling out whatever.
There are christian, more christian friends that I can get into. If my friends don't want to accept me for who I am, that's the one thing I can say about these clowns that I grew up with. They don't bother me like that. We run across each other in the street, whatnot. We giving each other some dapping. We hugging and whatnot. And a lot of them even tune in on here when I'm doing this. They know how I used to get down with them and whatnot. They know we used to tear Columbia up and whatnot. Was the stuff that we used to do all kind of other foolishness. Used to tear Columbia up and whatnot. I thank God for deliverance. I give God the glory because I didn't have enough sense. I wasn't strong enough to do it on my own. It was God. And as I always say, I had a praying mother. Y'all know that song? When she said I had a praying grandmother, y'all hear me say that from time to time, I had a praying mother. God bless you, Bishop kills tuning in from DC. God bless you, mighty woman of God. My bishop, the overseer. The big bad bishop. Thank you for tuning in. God bless you, bishop. Amen. I'm so used to announcing my pastor and bishop when I started, I just jumped right into it. Amen. I thank God for my pastor that allowed me to do this Bible study on tonight. And my bishop.
[00:20:43] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:20:43] Speaker A: My Pastor, Tonetta Robinson, the senior pastor. God bless her.
[00:20:46] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:20:47] Speaker A: A mighty woman of God. See, people have issue with that because I'm under a female pastor. I got my bishop, the overseer.
[00:20:52] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:20:53] Speaker A: God bless him.
[00:20:54] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:20:54] Speaker A: Who oversees the churches.
[00:20:55] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:20:56] Speaker A: He got a lot on his plate, him and my pastor. Keep your leaders in prayer. As I always say, this is a new year.
[00:21:01] Speaker B: Amen. Amen.
[00:21:02] Speaker A: My other nemesis, my Pittsburgh Steeler clown, just tuned in Mr. Williams.
[00:21:07] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:21:08] Speaker A: Boy, we had a discussion today. You hear me talking about Bishop William Murphy and all of that type of stuff. Boy, that conversation that me and him had today, that clown there, boy, that's my man right there. Mr. Antonio Williams and whatnot. But amen. Get your mind right.
[00:21:24] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:21:25] Speaker A: Don't worry about the clutter. Get all the clutter. Block out all the foolishness. I can't stress that enough. Do what you say you was going to do and stick to it. Open up your bible every day. Do you know the book of proverbs have 31 chapters? If it's 31 days in a month, you can read a chapter a day. There's no excuse not to read your word. You can read 31 chapters a day. You can read a chapter every day. It don't matter Old or New Testament, but it's good to start in the Old Testament. If you're not too familiar with the Bible, it'll confuse you a lot. If you're not saying a lot of big words. And they used to do a lot of things with the sacrifices and all of that stuff that you're not familiar with, you can go ahead and start off in the gospel. Start off with Jesus. Start off with the red, talking in the red. Starting by learning about Jesus and the birth of Jesus and all of that type of stuff and how that came to be about Jesus and Mark and Luke and John and the book of acts, the apostles, and all the stuff they was doing. There's some powerful stuff in there. There's stuff that you can learn also in the Old Testament as well. But I'm saying if you're going to read your word, start off with a chapter. Find a good book to start from a good chapter and read it.
Read it. Hallelujah, God. It ain't going to hurt you.
They got different versions of the Bible. Don't get tripped at King James. We don't talk like that. I don't understand it. That's another excuse, what I just said a few minutes ago, to move that stuff out the way they have english printed bibles that talk just like me and you. It's no thus and thou is this and you. It's not thus, saith the Lord. It's that the Lord says this. So you can understand that. Hallelujah. That the Lord says this. You got amplified, you got Niv, you got the new King James Version, which I have right here. And when there ain't nothing wrong with regular King James because some people are stuck on the regular King James and that's just fine. But as long as it's the word. Hallelujah, God. It's so many different versions of it.
[00:23:10] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:23:10] Speaker A: The new standard version is so many. The message Bible, so many different bibles out there, different translations, but it's all the same thing. Hallelujah, God. If you go read your word, then read it. If you go pray more, take time out to pray. How many hours is it in a day? It's 24 hours in a day. And you can't pray to God no time.
You can't give God no time in 24 hours.
He didn't woke you up and kept you all day long and got you back in your bed to sleep, and you can't give God no kind of praise. They go, my classmate, Mr. Ruben Santiago, what to do, Ruben?
[00:23:46] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:23:47] Speaker A: Thank you for your service. Military police. Good man, right?
[00:23:52] Speaker B: Huh?
[00:23:53] Speaker A: Serve God. Serve God with your whole heart.
[00:23:56] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:23:57] Speaker A: Serve God.
I done ran hard for the devil when I was out there. Why can't I run hard for Jesus?
I'm trying to give Jesus the same energy that I gave the enemy when I was out there, because I wasn't doing it for Jesus. I wasn't going to no church. I was going to the club, though, on Friday night, Saturday night, whatever, that's where I was at. I got to have the same energy when it comes into the house of the Lord, the same energy. If you can run the streets and do that, you can run the churches. Sometimes you got to go to two churches. Sometimes you get out your church and then go to another because somebody having a revival or somebody having appreciation, whatever the case may be, amen. Sometimes, depending on if you were like me, you went to two and three club, club hopping, all kinds of stuff, because that was my entertainment, that was my place to be.
[00:24:45] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:24:46] Speaker A: God bless you, mighty man of God, brother Bynum. Brother Glenn, God bless you. Thank you for tuning in, Glenn. Amen, mighty man of God. That's a powerful brother right there, saints.
[00:24:54] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:24:54] Speaker A: Glenn Bynum, powerful brother.
If you ran hard for the devil, you can run hard for Jesus either way. So put your running shoes. Just like to say, I'm a run on. Hallelujah, God. Running for my life.
[00:25:07] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:25:08] Speaker A: If anybody asks you what's the matter with me? What y'all know about that? Once again, generation X and millennials, generation Z and millennial know nothing about that.
[00:25:20] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:25:20] Speaker A: You tell the Lord, you tell them I'm saved, sanctified, holy ghost filled, fire baptized. I'm running for my life. And that's exactly what I'm doing. Running for my life every day, serving the Lord. Hallelujah. With full, 100%, full blast going forward. Ain't nobody got time to be backsliding right now. Nobody got time to be dying right now.
[00:25:40] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:25:40] Speaker A: Get your house in order. Hallelujah. God, get your mind right and serve to God with a whole heart. Be full. Bless your holy name, God.
[00:25:49] Speaker B: Amen. Amen. Amen.
[00:25:51] Speaker A: God bless you, Brother Bonham.
[00:25:52] Speaker B: That's cool in the game.
[00:25:54] Speaker A: That's fine with me.
[00:25:55] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:25:55] Speaker A: We just got to set it up.
[00:25:57] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:25:58] Speaker A: You got to get your mind right. You got to run. Hallelujah.
[00:26:02] Speaker B: God.
[00:26:03] Speaker A: You got to run. Run for the Lord. Run like your life dependent on it.
God wakes you up every day. You tell God thank you when you wake up for another day. Plenty of people didn't, sadly, and unfortunately, a lot of people didn't make it to see 2024. We are here. We're here. We're here for a reason. We're here for a purpose. Now tell the guy thank you. Tell the Lord thank you. And serve him with your whole heart.
Yes. People get on your last nerves. I got to say this from time to time.
[00:26:31] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:26:32] Speaker A: People go, yes. You want to slap the fire out of people. I know that on your job, in your community, where people disrespect you, these are the last days. The devil ain't going to make it easy.
He's not going to make it easy. People go lie on you, they go steal from you. They're going to cheat you. They're going to despitefully use you. And with all of that, what does the word of God say in Matthew five and 44? Pray for your enemies. Pray for those that despitefully use you. I know you don't want to pray for them because somebody says something about you they didn't lied on you and you didn't work and then got back to you.
[00:27:10] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:27:10] Speaker A: Hallelujah.
[00:27:11] Speaker B: God.
[00:27:12] Speaker A: Maybe from a reliable source, but, you know, some people just keep mess started, mess around and just lying to be lying, and they ain't saying that. Now, you got something against this person here and ain't never said nothing about you in the first place. That's why you got to be wise. Get your mind right. Saints of God, if somebody talks about you, let them talk. How many times? They didn't talk about who Jesus, did they not? They lied on Jesus. They blindfolded my God, slapped him, testified, prophesied who hit you and all of that type of stuff with them blindfolded ain't nobody blindfolded you and start slapping you in your face for the most part that I know of. I don't know what your lifestyle consisted of and whatnot, but I'm going to just go out on a limb. I don't think too many, how many times that happened, you'd have been blindfolded and somebody go hit you and tell you who hit you.
You ain't had no nails put in your hand and your feet. You ain't no crown of thorns placed on your head. My God went through all of that, and still. Yet he said, father, forgive them, because they don't know what they doing.
He said, if you can't forgive them, I can't forgive you.
Nobody said, it's easy. That's a hard pill to swallow when somebody do you wrong.
When somebody do you wrong, that's a hard pill to swallow to try and forgive somebody that just did something to you that didn't hurt you. Hallelujah. God. But our Lord and savior Jesus Christ said, that's what we got to do if we plan on reigning in heaven with him forever and ever and ever.
You got to learn to forgive people, and the only way you do that is to get your mind right. To do that, you got to get your mind. God knows my heart. He the one who put it in your body.
[00:28:48] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:28:48] Speaker A: He knows your heart. He knows all about you. Do not let the devil trick you with that God. That's straight from the devil. God knows my heart. Because nowhere in the word of God, nowhere in here it says, well, it depends on what it was. And I understand if you don't want to forgive them because of what you did was what they did to you was unforgivable. Nowhere it says that. It says to forgive, and you got to get your mind right in order to do so.
[00:29:13] Speaker B: Amen.
[00:29:14] Speaker A: Hallelujah. God, the word of God, says, you got to love the Lord your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your might. It tells you that the disciples asked, what's the greatest commandment? And he said, to love the Lord your God, with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love your neighbor, that same person that did you wrong, love your neighbor like you love yourself. That's the word of God. He said, those are the two most important commandments. They asked, what's the greatest commandment? And Jesus said, that right there, love.
Put God first. And then he said, love your neighbor as yourself.
I don't want to care about somebody doing you wrong. What you think Jesus cared about that? I just told you what they did to him.
Also, somebody then lied on you and then did you wrong. Hallelujah. I know that stuff hurt.
I know it hurt like I told you. I even heard a preacher say, it's easy for you to preach on forgiveness if you ain't never been hurt. I said, oh, man.
He said, it's easy to preach about if you ain't never been hurt. That's something to think about. But that's something that we got to push through. We have to push through. That's why you have to know men and women of God who can encourage you. You can't be a true man and woman of God and still hanging out with them clowns in the street. Now, I ain't saying forget about them. I said hanging with them. If you around them more than you around Christian, don't let. Oh, Christian. They just fake people see that. That type of garbage. Talking about your own brothers and sisters. Because once you accept Jesus as your lord and savior, I become your brother.
You become my brother or sister.
I'm your brother. Now, if you've accepted Jesus as your lord and savior, I am your brother, period. We brothers and sisters. Now, I ain't gonna let nobody talk about my brothers and sisters. And if you're wrong, I'm gonna tell you about it.
I'm gonna tell you about it, brother. Sister, if you're doing something you ain't got no business doing, now, I'm going to tell you about it because you're making me look bad, and you're making Christ look bad. You're making the body of Christ look bad, and you're making me look bad because I know you. See, I done heard things, too. So and so ain't what you think he is and all that. He be cussing and carrying on. He don't do it around you. But that's what. See, all of that, see, that's another thing. You got to be careful. Just because you ain't around, the brothers and sisters don't give you permission to start acting all willy nilly and doing other things because people would tell on you.
Same ones you call yourself smoking cigarettes with, drinking a little shot of liquor here and there. But you and me is all praise the Lord.
They go tell on you.
That fool's over there at the dope house the other night, and he was over there at the liquor house over there drinking with them fools, acting like he all that bootleg preachers and all. I didn't heard people say that stuff if I see you doing that foolishness, I'm going to get on you. I necessarily got to believe it, but things get back to you. So what I did say, whatever you do in the dark, what you know, the rest of it, whatever you do in the dark comes to light. You know the saying, it's a passage, I think, in somewhere in proverbs, I believe, that says the darkness.
Whatever you do in a cup of night, you see how you see me. That's how God sees you. It can be pitch black, dark outside. He see you just like you see me. Now on this screen.
You can't hide none from God.
You may can hide it from me, but you can't hide none from God.
You can't do it. Hallelujah.
My God. My God. I pray that you all got some out of this on tonight.
This is a new year.
Let's focus.
Let's serve the Lord like never before.
Stay on fire. We're going to have challenges. We're going to have bumps. We're going to have bruises. We're going to have some speed bumps. We're going to have some potholes.
We're going to have some obstacles, but we got to move around them.
We got to keep going.
We got to keep going.
Don't let no distractions hold you back.
Don't let forgiveness keep you out from making it in from heaven. That's people. That means that's a person. Don't let a person keep you from making it in. Don't tell me you serving all of this, serving God and going to church, all that's for nothing because you can't forgive my God. If you having trouble forgiving, ask God to help you.
Father God, cleanse my heart. Remove this unforgiveness that's not of you. Help me to forgive this individual. I didn't say you got to go invite them over for a dinner or a cookout or whatnot. Just make sure you forgive them, whoever it may be.
Husbands hurt your wives, hurt your children hurt your people, hurt you, whatever the case may be, especially coworkers hurt you, all of that. You got to find it in your heart to forgive them. You have to once again ask God to help you in that area.
This is a new year. Leave the foolishness behind you and carry this from January to December and Lord willing, take it into 2025. Stand on fire for the Lord and any type of garbage this year. You leave it behind you. Leave 2023 behind you. That's in the rear view mirror. We got blinders on. We looking forward. The devil is a liar. We are focused. We are running for God on fire. Spiritual fire. Have your helmet of salvation on your breastplate of righteousness. Because you got to give your whole heart to God. Because the enemy is trying to get your mind. He's trying to take your heart. Like you say, to steal, kill and destroy.
He is trying to steal, kill and destroy. The word says, that's what he's going to do. He's trying to steal your joy.
Kill your spirit. Hallelujah, God. And destroy your soul. And don't let him do it. Don't let him steal your joy. Don't let him kill your spirit. Hallelujah, God. And don't let them destroy your soul.
Keep fighting. Keep fight. Fighting. Spiritually, you keep fighting. Whenever you start feeling that, you pray, pray, pray. Either you believe God or you don't. Nothing is too hard for God. Nothing is too hard for God. I don't care what it is. You get diagnosed with cancer. Bump cancer. Nothing is too hard for God. You ever heard God say, I can't cure that, that's incurable. There's too many people around here that got testimonies. They went to the doctor, and the doctor don't see nothing. I want to hear that mess. Cancer is not a death sentence.
The devil is a liar. I know you'd be shook up, you human.
I heard bishop. Yeah, that's right. I heard Bishop. TD Jakes. That's right. I'm still talking about him. And I can support him until otherwise. It was an old clip that came up years ago, probably back in the 90s. He said, boy, you get diagnosed with cancer, you ought to start shouting, because you know why? That's giving God something else to do. Watch, God. Watch my miracle. Watch this miracle. Watch the next time when y'all see me, I'm gonna be cancer free.
But see, people don't want to shout. They get that from the doctor. You feeling down, you're feeling, no, do not close your mouth. That's when you open up your mouth and you say, the devil is a liar. Who that? Karen Claude had that song about, speak. Hallelujah, God. She said, don't close your mouth. Open your mouth and you will speak. Speak it in the atmosphere that you are healed, that you are healthy. Hallelujah, God. And the devil is a liar. God bless each and every last one of you. To the next time we go. Take 2024 by storm. Hallelujah, God. This will be our year to go higher and higher in Christ. Hallelujah, God bless your holy name the devil go do all that he can to put a stop to it. But once again he's a liar because we going higher and higher. The devil is a liar. Can we go on higher and higher? Bless your holy name. Let us pray. Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus, I thank you, heavenly Father, for this bible study on tonight. I thank you for each and everyone that tuned in on tonight. God bless you. Hallelujah, God. Thank you, Jesus. For those who tuned in, God, I pray, Lord, that this message tonight was a help and not a hinder. I pray that we can move on, heavenly Father, that we get our mind right, that we'll be focused, God, that we put our hands on the plow, that we will not go backwards. We will continue to go forward, Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus, strengthen each and every last one of us, God, and use us for your glory. In the mighty name of Jesus, Father God, I pray that we go higher and higher in you, God. It's all about you. It's not about us. Heavenly Father, to God be the glory. In Jesus holy name we pray.
